I ordered this blower as a spare for my Heatmor furnace. My original Dayton lasted 12 years with yearly cleaning and lubrication. This new blower is not a Dayton brand. I guess I will find out what it's made of if and when I need to install the next time I have a failure. No ports for oiling bearings yearly. It's unfortunate that honestly is a lost attribute these days!! Shame on you Amazon for not policing your sellers!!
Doesn’t appear to be an actual Dayton brand blower. I have ordered several Dayton brand blowers and they all have the red and white Dayton sticker on them. This looks to be a knock off. The housing was bent pretty bad right out of th box and once I installed it the set screw came loose after running it for about a day. I had to reinstall the squirrel cage and use lock tight to keep it on the shaft.
Lasted just over a year. Can't find any warranty information, but I'm sure if there was a warranty it would only be for a year anyways just like the original one that came on the outdoor wood burner. All I can say is Dayton motors are junk!! The only reason I ordered the last one on amazon is it was $60 cheaper compared to the heating and cooling place that the wood burner came from. They also said they have been disappointed with the Dayton motors and said they should even last more than a couple years, but people have had to keep replacing them that they sold the wood burners to. All I can say is the first sign of noise coming from the blower motor, you best send it back if it's under warranty still.
The motor i received had Dayton stickers all over it. The fan appears to be balanced and has no vibrations. I used it on a Woodmaster 5500 and the difference is noticeable. I could hear the old fan vibrating and rattling from over 50' away. Now I have to get close to hear it at all, and all I hear is the whoosh of air.
I bought 2, It would be better if they had the size in inches of how big or small they are.They were much smaller than the ones I was replacing so I just made a plate to reduce the size of the hole they were going to bolt up to. Very powerful, especially for the size. Though they are small , they work as well as the larger ones I had to replaced. I would had given them all the stars if they showed the actual size in the description.

Perfect replacement for the blower motor for my Heatmor 200s. My OEM motor stopped working after 10 years, I didn't realize how much power it has lost over the years. This thing really blows a LOT of air, I should have replaced it sooner.
We used this for our wood burner. It has held up very well. Especially since there is a lot of dirt and dust. Would definitely buy again.
Received unit, fan cage had ~1/4" runout and it vibrated. Crap quality control. Thankful for Amazon being easy for returns. As others have noted, this is not made by Dayton, it is clearly marked as manufactured for Dayton. The unit appears otherwise decent, good finish, bearings are smooth.
