Purchased in hopes of fixing one of my favorite inflatables for Christmas display. Didnt work for me. So not sure if its the part or something else.
Ceiling fan stopped changing speeds. Youtube’d the issue and found a video on what could be the culprit. This was the most likely issue so changed it out and viola. So saved us from buying a whole new fan.
Used to replace ceiling fan capacitor. It was an exact fit. Delivered on time.
Helped me fix a $300 inflatable Christmas decoration, this part is normally the one that goes.
works great, fixed my problem

I've found that 9/10 times when HVAC motors won't start it's the capacitor. Once you understand and mitigate the risks involved with swapping one out there is no better way to save yourself a lot of money. Even if the new cap doesn't resolve your issue for $10-$12 it's well worth the chance to save $100-$200 for someone to come in and try the same thing for you. Also, you shouldn't need to buy the exact same part number as the bad part, it's the specs of the part and the size/shape which matter. Do a little homework and save some cash but ALWAYS take appropriate steps when working with electricity.
The blower motor on my Trane furnace/AC unit quit working. I replaced the blower start/run capacitor with this one. This one had the same values and dimensions and electrical values as the OEM part that failed. The new one arrived in two days and worked perfectly. This was a great deal with the low cost and free Prime shipping. I spent about $9 instead of spending $150-200 that I would have been charged for a service call.
As we discussed troubleshooting the repair of a heat pump system I decided to purchase this capacitor as a hunch that the circulating fan may be the problem, tripping the circuit breaker in the system. The product arrived in new condition. We used it in the start circuit of a 220 volt, 1/4 HP, 1750 rpm circulating fan. It worked perfectly! Problem solved.
Older HVAC unit in our detached workshop stopped blowing heat or A/C, even though we could hear the compressor kicking on outside. The HVAC repairman said was awesome enough to tell me "It's like an $8 part on Amazon you can replace yourself, or I can do it for like $200 parts and labor". Ordered this part, got here a few days later, plugged it in where he showed me, and no more space heaters or box fans! Will update on longevity if it dies anytime soon.
Good value. Great fix for my air conditioner. The only issue is that most "caps" come with at least one terminal marked with a "+" positive side. This doesn't. It didn't matter. It worked perfectly. I would buy again.

Amazon is faster than Granger, my furnace fan quit and a serious cold front was 2 days away, and with no fan we have no heat, but prime had it here the next day, it is 15 degrees Fahrenheit outside and we are warm as toast inside, i had plan not to renew my prime membership but now that is off the table, thank you prime. Cactus Jack
I bought this thinking it would fix a furnace blower motor. Unfortunately, the motor itself turned out to be bad. However, I did measure the capacitance on the new part and it reads 4.99, almost perfect. This would have taken care of my issue if the capacitor had been the problem. I keep this around now for a spare.
Had a rental property a/c compressor "quit"....old capacitor tested as dead...replaced it with this unit in the early spring last year...worked great ever since.

I've been in the HVAC/R trade for over 30 years and I have installed a bunch of these motors one of the problems I've come across is they don't work very well with the shaft pointed up. There is to much end play in the rotor and it seems like it rubs or scrapes on the end cap in this position making a noise like bad bearings from the day its installed. I've never had this problem with the shaft facing down.
I bought this as pre-emptive maintenance on my A/C. My old motor was due to go, and they always seem to die on a holiday weekend or at night, and it costs many hundreds to get an A/C guy out to replace it. So I got this as an exact replacement, did it myself and I'll keep the old motor as an emergency backup for the future. If you do it yourself, be sure to replace the capacitors also.
Motor only lasted about 4 weeks. Started having problems with A/C about 4 weeks after installing. Had to get the A/C Mech. out to find the issues. The fan motor was very hot , pulling double the rated amps and leaking oil. A/C Mech. ordered new motor from locale parts house. I would not buy from this vendor again. Only 4 weeks on returns.
Replaced a 1/4 hp failed condenser fan motor with this model. Ordered it on Saturday via Amazon prime and it arrived before noon on Monday. Don't forget to also get a new 7.5uf capacitor (connect the brown and brown/white wires to the new cap. The most difficult part of this job by far was removing the fan hub and blades from the old motor. This taks took over 2 hours of the 3 hour total time to replace the motor. If you can order a new fan hub/blade to go with the new motor, do it. It will reduce the level of effort tremendously.

      1. Turn off power at the service disconnect (typically a breaker or fuse mounted on the house near the AC unit).
      2. Disconnect old motor wires from the unit. Most should be terminal lugs (capacitor) while the line power (probably white/black, or red/black, or yellow/black) is likely hardwired to the contactor relay in some fashion.
      3. Lossen, but don't remove the 4 bolts securing the old fan at the top of the AC unit.
      4. Flip the top over wile taking care to free the old motor wires from the electrical box.
      5. With the top flipped over, lossen the inset bolt on the fan hub, and attempt to remove fan blade from the old fan motor. If it sticks, WD40 and some gentle prying should pull free it. Alternatively, use a hub puller, or purchase a new fan hub/blade so this step is not required.
      6. Examine the wiring on the old fan motor and determine if it is set for Clockwise or Counterclockwise rotation. This is typically set by 4 jumper leads on the wiring harness, described on the motor's label.
      7. Remove the 4 bolts securing the motor to the AC unit top, and remove the old fan motor.
      8. Install the new fan motor, taking care to orient the motor with the wiring harness exciting at the appropriate angle for cable routing. Should be the same orientation as the old motor.
      9. If the new motor shaft is longer than the old fan motor, use a hack saw to trim the shaft down to the same length. Be careful not to scar the shaft between the motor and the saw to prevent problems installing the fan hub/blades.
      10. Lubricate the shaft lightly, and install the fan hub/blades and tighten the hub set screw.
      11. Ensure that cables are properly secured in a protective covering between the fan motor and the AC unit electric box. You can connect the green ground wire to one of the screws securing the grate to the AC unit top.
      12. In the electric box, connect the brown and brown/white wire to the new 7.5uf capacitor. Using a nylon wire-tie, secure the new capacitor to a suitable place in the electric box.
      13. Using wire lugs or but splices, connect the white and black (line power) wires to the same wires used by the old motor. Alternatively you could connect directly the contactor (relay) output.
      14. Test run. Position the AC unit top appropriately, and verify that the fan blades can spin freely with no obstructions.
      15. Turn the indoor thermostat down to 60.
      16. Energize the outdoor AC unit by closing the service disconnect breaker, or re-inserting the fuse. (do not touch anything on the unit while the service breaker is closed/on!).
      17. Verify the fan is spinning, and check inside to verify the system is cooling.
      18. Turn off service disconnect breaker and reassemble the AC unit with all the sheet metal screws etc... pay close attention to the cable routing and positioning inside the electric box.
      19. Turn unit back on at the service disconnect and verify the fan still spins and the unit is cooling.
      20. Done!

Everything was excactly the same. Wire colors, shaft length, everything. The only problem i had was getting the fan blade off. It was rusted solid onto the shaft. Had to order another fan blade. If i had not had that problem would have been an hour to hour and a half job. Works perfect. And very quiet. Dont forget to take out the proper drain plug on the appropriate side.

Arrived intact and work fine in my old Singer condenser unit. Gave it four since It's not an A.O. as advertised, but a Century.
Update: bearings are loud and motor sounds like it's ready to fail after one year. The fan was new and balanced, so vibration shouldn't be a factor. It's mounted upside down in an old unit, so maybe the bearings are only designed to face down?
Anyway, I'll have to replace it, so knocking it back to two stars.
Purchased replacement on Oct 19 2016 and just 2 years later dies. Thankfully it died at the very end of the season. I would have expected more than 2 years for a brand new motor. Not impressed.
