Had a difficult time finding an exact replacement for my pool pump. This one met the specs I was looking for and shipping was one day. Since my pool was out of commission I decided to give this one a shot. Lack of packaging as it was just plastic wrapped but it arrived perfectly and in 5 minutes my pool was up and running again. I plan on ordering another as a spare/backup.
Would have given a higher rating but wanted potential purchasers to notice this review/warning. The piece was functional and probably deserves a higher rating but, be very careful to check the dimensions of the component. Although the connections posts were correct and the component appeared to be identical to the one I was replacing, the diameter of the item was slightly larger, preventing it from fitting into the capacitor housing of the motor I was repairing.
Again, buy with confidence if you are certain of your dimensions. The problem was on me. It works just fine if electrically and physically compatible.
My pool pump would just hum and not run. If this is happening to you, the capacitor might be the issue. Check to see if the impeller is moving freely and if it is try this capacitor (if it matches your specs). It is plug and play and my pump fired right up with no issues.
I waited a while before writing a review to make sure it was still working. So far so good, easy to install and is still working like a champ a couple months later. In fact, the pump probably works better than it has in years, so was a good purchase.
Had to do a little hammer work on the enclosure, as this item was a bit bigger than the old one, but worked great and has to be better than other brands I have tried that only lasted a year in my pool pump motor.
Update; the tighter fit may have led to more heat, as it failed after roughly 45 days. I switched to a smaller bodied unit.

Worked perfectly for what I needed it for. It was the perfect diameter and the price was great. I’d would definitely buy again.
Inexpensive. Friend installed. Total cost to fix pump was 11.86. Quote was over $1k and would not have fixed the simple issue.
I installed it in 10 minutes and my Hot Tub is back up and running.
Physically the can dimensions are slightly too large to fit in the cover without distorting the capacitor can. The cover was oversized a bit even for a 350 VAC cap but this one was too large

The rooftop AC unit on my Casita travel trailer was not working properly -- the fan would not operate in any of the switch positions. A google search suggested the fan capacitor could be the problem; a YouTube video described the testing and replacement procedure in a manner which seemed doable by me. As I'd already done other work on the AC unit (installed an EasyStart module and replaced the shroud), I ordered the part without testing the existing capacitor (low price for replacement vs time to disassemble, test, reassemble). The actual replacement took about 15 minutes and the fan now works again, which enables the heating and cooling functions. Good to go!
When I have my semi annual HVAC system checks performed, I receive a summary of the system's health and needs. Sometimes it's nothing more than a good cleaning that is needed and other times parts may be needed soon. When caoicitors are recommended, I get the details, order them from Amazon and install them myself. These Power Well capacitors were perfect replacements for the two which were beginning to fail. Since you should be able to expect what the product specifications call out this is what I expected to receive and the product, Amazon merchant and Amazon earn three stars. When my expectations are met three stars are awarded. When I experience disappointing results from a purchase stars are removed and when I'm pleasantly surprised stars are added.
I'm so glad this part was available! My 31 year old air conditioner stopped working last year during a 100 degree heat wave. Fuses and circuit breakers seemed to be okay. I was about to call an A/C repair company, but it was the weekend when emergency service calls cost more.

Then I searched the internet and discovered that a capacitor could be bad. What's a capacitor? Didn't know. So I took the lid off the A/C and was surprised that the existing capacitor was near the top inside and easily accessible. With just two simple wires connected. And then I was super surprised to find this capacitor for sale that appeared to meet the same specifications.

After I received it, it was super easy to install. And that fixed this old air conditioner. That sure saved a lot of $ verses a $100+ service call. And prevented a possible several thousand $$$ upsale to replace the old A/C.
My HVAC condenser fan wouldn't spin, so I used a small stick to manually spin the fan to get it started and that worked until I could get the right parts to fix it. It's an old Rheem unit and was built in 1983. The HVAC repair guys want me to buy a new unit. I initially replaced my Start Capacitor, but it did not fix the issue. While I was replacing it, I noticed the Run Capacitor was bulging slightly on the top, so I ordered it. That fixed the problem and now it works perfectly. I ordered this one because it is Made In The USA. I paid a little more, but I am very happy with it. Mine arrived in a bubble envelope mailer, in a small cardboard box, and then wrapped in a static free bag. It's an easy fix, but I cannot stress the importance of being safe. If you have any doubts or concerns, please hire a professional and insist on using replacement parts made in the USA.
My old Capacitor got wet from condensation dripping on it. As a result it smoked and was catching fire when furnace kicked in. This cap fixed that in 5 minute install.
