This cap is being used to replace a studded cap in my sears refrigerator. The original TongFeng cap burned out from a short. The blade connectors are wider than the original but with a lottle wiring and some new connectors on the fridge it fit fine.

Side note, I think Bojack might just be a third party seller of a different brand, or their quality team didn't see the point in using the original label on the cap. That or maybe they changed their logo
I was advised that when I changed my Fan Limit Controller for my home furnace that I change the capacitor as well. It does not cost very much and since my system is over 20 years old, better to be safe than sorry. The installation was easy and my system is working great.
It's December so of course the start capacitor on my HVAC blower quit. This matched the specs and size exactly and was a lot cheaper than calling out a repair company. 5 minutes and my squirrel cage spins up like new.

It was a perfect fit for my old Carrier A/C. The problem was that the fan motor on the outdoor condenser would not turn on. I could use a stick to spin it and that would start it up, but it would not start by itself. That was a clear sign the Start Capacitor had gone bad. Old capacitor is shown in the picture. The new one fit perfectly and now the A/C works again. Just be careful replacing a capacitor, as they can store enough electricity to hurt or kill you. Only do this job if you know what you are doing.
Hard to screw up something as simple as a capacitor. Glad it has 5-year warranty because I was wary of buying Chinese parts again. I hope it lasts more than the warranted 5 years (last one served 25).
Bought two to have a spare on hand next time the A/C goes out on a 107F day.
Glad Amazon had one in stock locally and could deliver within one day because our A/C quit on Friday night. (unlucky timing)
Installation was easy as cake (piece of pie). Duh. Every man should know how to install a simple electrical part.
The capacitor itself was well labeled for the separate circuits and had plenty of prongs for extra wires. Clean product, electrically sound. Just smaller than the original, in all dimensions. Took a small shim in the clamp to keep it tight but no big deal.
My HVAC fan and compressor stopped turning on. I called my home warranty company and they told me they wouldn't be out for 5 days. I couldn't handle 5 days of no AC in Florida! I took to Google and figured out the problem and which capacitor I needed.. Got same day delivery,received and 10 minutes later I had working AC again! It was a direct swap out except for the bracket that mounts it to the unit. I drilled a hole in the bracket to make a tighter fit and good as new. I also bought a backup for the next time the capacitor breaks!
Cheap first thing to try for AC compressor and fan not starting. Very easy to fit. A single screw clamp and a few wires that just plug in after taking the condenser side panel off is all that needs to be done to replace the bad capacitor. A 15 minute job! Bought a second one as a spare replacement. Thoroughly recommended! The only down side was a couple of days in the sweltering heat waiting for Amazon to deliver!
First and foremost nothing compared to central air in July in Louisiana. Well once I realized my unit was not turning on outside I knew the local AC company with the many red trucks was not going to rip me off again. In fact they charged me over $200 to change capacitor last time. With help from the internet I quickly decided to order this item which was very affordable and fixed my A/C in less than 5 mins. SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE MAXRUN 60/5 MFD

The capacitor is 2 3/8" in diameter by 4 1/3" in height - Please check your specifications carefully.

This Capacitor is rated for 440 Volts which means it will work at 370 or 440 VAC. It will also run from -40 C. to +70 C. It is safety rated at 10,000 AFC.

A dual run capacitor, such as this 60/5, combines two capacitors into one unit. It will power a compressor motor and a fan motor, and has three terminals on the top. They are labeled "Herm" for the compressor motor, "Fan" for the fan, and "C" for the common line.

Run Capacitors work hand in hand with Electric Motors that power the compressors and condensers that make air conditioning work. For this purpose, the Capacitor works the same way as a battery. It stores and releases a large charge very quickly. This released charge gives the motor the spin it needs to start and run correctly.

As Air Conditioning Capacitors age, they lose their ability to hold a charge and get weaker.

As the capacitor gets older, the motor may get louder and seem to run slower. If replaced before they get weaker, its possible to lengthen the life of the motor. Eventually, the capacitor will get too weak to start the motor and if the motor can't start, it can short out. Timely replacement of the capacitor is essential to Air Conditioning Maintenance.

SAFETY TIPS FOR REPLACEMENT

When replacing a capacitor always be sure to turn off the power to the air conditioning unit and place a screw driver between the terminals of the capacitor to release any stored charge. This product is probably exceptional, but didn't fit my application, my mistake. What I will cplain about is Amazon's return process. I used to be able to print a label and drop it in the mailroom at work as the closest UPS store is 30 miles away. Now, I have to pay return shipping to to that. Not worth it for something so cheap.
This is a great product and just does its job beautifully. Fits perfectly when I replaced dual run capacitor for my Lennox HVAC system. Feel so satisfied when I could replace the capacitor for just $10 when RS Andrew’s (local HVAC company) quoted $350.
As the other reviewers have stated, this unit runs like a charm. I see no reason to purchase one at a higher price.

I removed one star on install as the diameter was about 1/4" smaller than the GE unit it replaced. Because of the holder Carrier used I couldn't just tighten down to hold it firm. Other than that I'm back to being cool as a cucumber 😉.

As the title says, this motor was an exact replacement to the original motor. The electrical leads were plenty long enough to reach the control box. One of the screw posts was bent during shipping. But, it was able to be straightened.
I am so happy this motor works like wonders ...it arrived earlier than expected and we installed within an hour ...even the HVAC technicians doesnt have any in stock. I was afraid i am getting a lemon and will melt for days during heat wave. Thank you.
I am not an HVAC guy, but the motor would get hot and seize up. Changed for the new one in 20 minutes . Everything is working fine now.

Arrived intact and work fine in my old Singer condenser unit. Gave it four since It's not an A.O. as advertised, but a Century.
Update: bearings are loud and motor sounds like it's ready to fail after one year. The fan was new and balanced, so vibration shouldn't be a factor. It's mounted upside down in an old unit, so maybe the bearings are only designed to face down?
Anyway, I'll have to replace it, so knocking it back to two stars.
Purchased replacement on Oct 19 2016 and just 2 years later dies. Thankfully it died at the very end of the season. I would have expected more than 2 years for a brand new motor. Not impressed.

Stuck this sucker on the bottom of my triburner coal stove (Alaska Channing II) using self tapping screws. Removed the original squirrel cage fan rotor and wired in a plug from an old refrigerator I was junking. You'll need a 1/2" clamp for the conduit box. Works great, probably last a long time. At full feed rate I get a flame touching the top of the stove. Only problem is the flange gets in the way of a wingnut so I replaced it with a regular nut. Blows enough cool air into the gear box housing from the gap where the old fan lived that you can delete the stupid fan on the side of the stove that blew cool air on the unit.
Good company. The first one to come in wouldn't work. I contacted the seller and had a replacement later that week. The blower is sturdy, and works perfect for my coal forge. Not too much or too little air to get a bed of coals up to temp. I am building a forced air forge, but this little guy just doesn't move enough air for a ribbon burner.
I am using this as a blower for my forge, so far so good !
This replaced a unit which was installed in a hoop house to blow air between the two layers of the plastic cover for insulation. Works well.
This is a quality blower that runs quiet. My 12’x12’ greenhouse is happy again. Perfect amount of air to inflate the walls insulating the house.

Used these motors before in 2 coal furnaces I run in my house and garage. My local dealer wanted $180.00 for this motor. Purchasing it for $61.00 was a steal. They usually last about 3 years but coal is dirty. I’d expect them to last longer in a cleaner environment. Very happy with purchase.
Great quality fan. Quiet and smooth. I use it with a variable power supply without issue. I think the key is to turn it on at full power and then throttle down afterwards to the desired speed to minimize damage to the windings.
This Dayton blower is the perfect replacement for a 25 year old woodstove fan. It seems well constructed and it works well. My only minor gripe would be it doesn’t move as much air as I had hoped. But putting that aside, it’s everything that I hoped and wished it would be upon unboxing and installing it.
