After getting multiple quotes from multiple AC repair guys, I decided to tackle the project myself.... I pulled apart my AC on one of the hottest days a year.... 15 minutes and a short youtube video later, found out hear got out quite often and are considered a wear item. Bought this one on Amazon, got it the next day first thing in the morning (Saturday) and I had my AC up and running perfectly in 15 minutes.
I ordered. Asecond one as a backup because they are so cheap and saved me the 120-200$ aC repair fee.
It installed with. A flat head screwdriver, and only took so long because my powerbox is in the basement.... If it was nearby or if I had some help, I would have been done in <5 minutes.
Ac quit cooling, ordered this and it fixed it. House is cool again. Can't believe we sweated out the end of last summer when we could've fixed it for 8 bucks.

WARNING – When you replace a capacitor make ABSOLUTE sure to replace it with one that is the exact same value or a higher value. DO NOT use a capacitor with a lesser value.
As the title says, this motor was an exact replacement to the original motor. The electrical leads were plenty long enough to reach the control box. One of the screw posts was bent during shipping. But, it was able to be straightened.
I am so happy this motor works like wonders ...it arrived earlier than expected and we installed within an hour ...even the HVAC technicians doesnt have any in stock. I was afraid i am getting a lemon and will melt for days during heat wave. Thank you.
I am not an HVAC guy, but the motor would get hot and seize up. Changed for the new one in 20 minutes . Everything is working fine now.
I had tried to buy one from another source
not on Amazon, shipment got delayed twice in 5 days. My air was out 7 days total .
I like be in South West Florida.
