Remark:
1.Safe first, unplug and power off, advise to wait for at least 1 minute to let capacitor to release high voltage
2.Please conform high voltage is already released, advise to use a nipper pliers to short capacitor foot and common foot to double conform release voltage,notice your hand needs to hold the insulated part of nipper pliers
3.The common phenomenon of air conditioner capacitor broken is that compressor can not start or moving strengthless
4.High withstand voltage capacitor can replace the low withstand voltage capacitor, such as 450V withstand capacitor can replace the 370V capacitor with same volume, yet the 370V can not replace the 450V capacitor.
5.Normally only samll power air conditioners used 250V AC capacitors which total power in is 125V, most home air conditioners capacitor used 330V 370V or 450V AC capacitors to provide more cooling air

It is really pointless note but caps are rarely have very accurate value, and does not need to be. +/-20% would be perfectly fine.
It is just interesting that I've measured values of only 1 or 2 % off. This is beyond need but maybe an indication of tight manufacturing quality process control.
It is shorter than original/old cap with exactly the same specs. Diameter is the same though.
Working fine, no issues at all. Previous cap lasted about 7 years. Will see about this one.
Arrived in less than 24 hours and fixed our A/C problem. Neither fan or compressor was running. I spun the fan by hand and it ran, so I figured it might be the starter capacitor. Installed in about five minutes. Had to wrap some electrical tape around the body since it's a little thinner than the original, and the clamp didn't hold it tightly. My wife was very happy, and I'm her hero. I'm sure it saved quite a bit over a service call.
The fan on my a/c unit stopped spinning, but I could hear the motor buzzing, as if it wanted to spin. My furnace/blower was working, but no cool air because the unit was not working. I checked the capacitor and it looked as if it was shot. So, I went online to see where I could find one. It was a holiday weekend, so all HVAC stores were shuttered. Surprisingly, Amazon had capacitors available for next day delivery. For under $20 I decided to make the purchase. It arrived as expected. I took great care when removing the old capacitor - shutting off all electricity to the unit - and replaced it with the new capacitor. The whole process took less than ten minutes. After all of the connections were in place and the electricity was flowing, we turned the thermostat on and the unit kicked in - just like new!!! Within a matter of minutes, the upstairs began cooling down. Maybe the best purchase I’ve ever made, especially since it was the hottest weekend on record in LA! This was a big DIY Win!!!
