Attic roof vent fan motor was just humming - no start. But when I spun it a little by hand it accelerated and ran, so I figured the winding and bearings were OK but capacitor probably shot. On this 120 volt PSC-type motor, the capacitor is used to start the motor and when it's up and running the capacitor helps it run more efficiently. I received a pack of two 10 microfarad capacitors from Amazon next day, wired one in place of the old cap, and the motor starts and runs like new. I'm sure a service call would result in someone selling and installing a whole new vent fan for about $500. So I definitely recommend these capacitors.
My attic vent fan was taking about 15 seconds to come up to speed. This capacitor's specs matched those of the original one. After a quick adapting of this one's wires to the old cap's spade terminals, the fan starts up rapidly like it used to. Good enough, and, since the product comes in pairs I have a spare cap that I'll lose before I ever need it. Oh well.
Not much to say about these caps. Installed just fine and brought my fan back to life. My original had a thin metal mounting surface and these were quite a bit thicker, but this style is all that is available for a reasonable price. They were cheap and worked just fine. No polarity on the wiring so installed simply with crimp connectors.

My ceiling fan made a noise at the two high speeds that sounded like the motor had bad bearings and the motor would slow down at the higher speeds. I took down the fan and inspected the motor. The shaft turned with no indication that the bearing were bad or that there was rubbing inside the motor. Replaced the capacitor and the fan operates as it should. The capacitors were shipped and received in short ordered. very satisfied.

I replaced my Casablanca Victorian fan's capacitor and I am happy. I am sure the product will last a long time since it is well built. The good thing is that I have a spare one as well.....just in case another fan in the house blows a capacitor!!!
