****UPDATE**** You get what you pay for. Wow, this thing already stopped working..It hasn’t lasted nine months. It worked at the end of summer then wasn’t used until last month, April. So I got about 3 months of actual usage. Unsatisfactory. Maybe Amazon will give great customer service as usual and save this review.
Before further investigation: Like one purchaser, when I first plugged this in, it worked great. However, in about 25 hours after installation, the device failed. While this may be suitable for some units, I would suggest that people try to look up the manufacturer recommended dual run capacitor for their unit. If it is readily available and not that expensive, then try the recommended capacitor first. There may be some variations and quality issues that are not evident from simply looking at the stated specifications.
After further investigation with a REAL METER -- I had originally given this device 1 star. However, upon closer inspection and after changing several dual-run capacitors, it turned out all along to be a fan motor failure! "Sorry" to the people at BOJACK for my initial bad review!
Worked perfectly. Always keep a spare on hand. Will save you a few hundred over a service call. Easy to install, plenty of YouTube videos.
There was a dent on side of capacitor. I order another one at same time from different amazon store and it also had a smaller dent in side. I'm not sure if I should even try and install it.
the new air conditioner capacitor resolved the problem quickly. Thank you.

It did the job as advertised
Direct replacement, easy to install, good value for the money.
A little more expensive than I thought it would be but it works well. Easy to install but I thought I had bought the wrong product as there was no labels on the product itself
