I have an oldie but goldie Hunter fan that was stuck on just one speed. This capacitor is perfect to resolve the issue.

As another reviewer stated (big thank you to reviewer):
Make sure you match up the resistance ratings (the uF number). Then make sure the VAC number is equal to or higher than the existing capacitor. My fan's capacitor was rated at 5uF 300V. This 5uF 450V fit and works flawlessly -- no unusual buzzing or humming. Very easy to install too despite the different shape.

Prior to using this capacitor I used a lower rated VA than what came in my Hunter Fan. There was a constant buzzing sound when running. Replacing with this higher rated capacitor solved the issue.

The capacitor seems to be of high quality and a heavy duty replacement for the OEM capacitor that was installed originally within the fan.
This product fixed my 60" Hunter Regalia fan that had lost its two faster speeds. The fan had only the slow and slower speeds for the past several years. During this past heatwave, I decided to do something about it. Now the fan has all 4 speeds available again. I had forgotten how fast and how much air the fan can be!

These work well & reduced the power factor as expected. They do NOT reduce the power used as some companies claim.

Great
Our ceiling fan stopped working and after a couple of online searches, the most common problem is the fan Capacitor fails. This was a super easy fix and for less than $10 my fan is now working again.
