The furnace blower motor quit running, so I first checked the capacitor. It appeared slightly expanded and checked as open so I looked up a replacement using the original part number and found this listing . All specifications seemed to be the same, so I ordered it. When it arrived in two days, I found it to be an exact replacement in all ways, even physical size. That made replacing it very easy and in a few minutes the motor was running perfectly again. A great replacement part at an extremely good price.
My HVAC furnace (return) fan capacitor went out and needed to be replaced for me to have heat. The brand of capacitor doesn’t really matter, just make sure all your numbers match the one you’re replacing ( uF #, V #, and Hz #). The capacitor was the exact one I had ordered, and was in good shape. After a few minutes it was installed and my heat was back on. This is the 2nd capacitor I’ve ordered from amazon, (my HVAC outside A/C unit needed one a few years ago) they are cheaper than a normal HVAC supply company and do the same job. Don’t worry about the brand or the vendor, match your numbers and find the best price. Even if you’re not mechanically savvy, diagnosing and replacing a capacitor is very easy and there are several videos online to show you how to do both, save yourself a lot of money by doing it on your own.
