It's a capacitor with a specific rating. Real review of this product will be how long it lasts and keep the ratings within 6%.

Upon delivery I measured, it was 50.07 and 5.01. So bang on.

Few things that I think may be helpful to most at the time of purchase-
1. Length is not 4' as depicted. It's more like 4 1/4'. Should not be problem, but just in case you are wondering.

2. Diameter is pretty much like what they have depicted. I believe diameter is important for most as it should fit in the enclosure.

My AC wasn't working, fan wouldn't turn. I watched a YouTube video and extracted the part. Ordered it and three days later, 15 minutes after taking it out of the mailbox, my AC cranked up. Right before a super hot weekend, perfect! Plan to order a backup. So happy I could find it so easily on Amazon. Part looks shiny and new, though it was packaged in a super-light-weight box inside a mail envelope. Two days later, still working perfectly!
I'm a novice and replaced this in my air conditioner to fix it. One thing to note is that the three connectors mean it's actually 2 capacitors that are combined into one form factor. When I discharged the old capacitor the first connector did nothing, but the second one scared me to death with an intense arc. Anyone can replace these things, but for god's sake, turn off the power first and discharge all connections on the old capacitor.
bigger than advertised. Overall length is not 4 " more like 5 ' and not 2.38 " really 2.5 "
when replacing parts SIZE DOES MATTER
i received this capacitor and found that the tolerance is different that pictured and what the specs on my origical capacitor were. the item pictured shows tolerance of +/- 6%, which is what i needed. however the item received (see my picture) was +/- 5%. i'm going to go ahead and install this as I don't think it will cause a problem. but heads up on the error in the listing.

Description

A capacitor is an electric component that temporarily stores an electrical charge. A dual "run capacitor" supports two electric motors, such as a fan motor and a compressor. Round dual run capacitors are used to start and run the unit more efficient. It saves space by combining two physical capacitors into one case. The dual capacitor has three terminals labeled "C", "FAN", and "HERM", which stand for the *C*ommon, Fan, and *HERM*etically sealed compressor.

Dual capacitors come in a variety of sizes, depending on the capacitance (µF = MFD = micro farad), such as 60 plus 5 µF, and also the voltage. A 440 volt capacitor can be used in place of a 370 volt, as it is build better, but the 370 can’t be used in place of a 440 volt. It will work for a while and will fail prematurely, as exceeding the capacitor's rated voltage will cause the dielectric to break down and the capacitor to short out. Same as an electric wire- 600V rated wire is better than 300V one .The capacitance(µF or MFD or micro farad) must be the same or stay within 10%+ or 5%- of its original value . Example: 50 µF cap can be substituted by 48 - 55 MFD with the same or better voltage ratings capacitor.

If your fan is working but compressor not, or the capacitor is bulged on top most likely your capacitor is defective. Round capacitor can be used to substitute oval shape one with the same MFD AND Volt specs.

You will ask “Why I need a Cap that is rated 440V in my A/C?”

Answer: You need to realize that a motor is an inductive device. When the supply voltage is applied to the motor run winding, the voltage across the start winding will be increased to a higher voltage value. A motor acts like a transformer with the run winding acting as the primary and the start winding acting as the secondary. This is why the capacitor has a much higher voltage rating than the 230 being the supply voltage.

If a Capacitor is not EIA-456-A approved means it is NOT approved for USA market.

The form factor on this part is NOT correct. Selected this vendor because it specifically had the correct part number and warranty. Usually not just matching specifications and sticking to the part number gets the correct part. Not this time. Operating specifications are the same - It functions. However, it is physically too large in diameter to fit the application for Carrier P/N HC98JA051 which it is supposed to replace. It does NOT fit in the bracket holding the capacitor, and the unit shell can’t be closed with the capacitor installed in the factory location. “Well simply use another bracket and relocate it” – yes, did that. But BEWARE, not as easy as most will assume. Real estate is very limited and wires for the capacitor were too short. If it wasn’t July, I would have sent it back.
This was an exact replacement for the dead capacitor in our air conditioner. A great price too. It fit perfectly and fixed our dead aircon unit. FYI the compressor and fan weren't running.

This looks like this is a good product. I used a digital Fluke meter to measure the capacitance values and they were spot on, within 2% of specs.

With the low price I bought a spare one to have on hand "just in case".
So far the 50+5 MFD it worked out and was able to fixed my on and off issue that it was doing on my central AC unit.. had for 3 days now time will tell and see how long they will last. I all so added a hard start 5-2-1 kit with to help out the capacitor initial start up.. purchase 2 of these and have the other just for backup in the near future.. good products so far.
