Saved myself a lot of money by putting an ohm meter across my old one and reading a short. Two HVAC techs told me I needed a whole new furnace for $1,700. They lied.
The capacitor works fine. However, it is a little bigger than the original which prevents the reinstallation of the fan cover. I had to lengthen the wires and hot glue the cap to the outside of the housing. Looks bad but it works. Maybe someone else has a better idea.
Used to replace capacitors in a ceiling fan.
