Seems to work fine so far. Replaced failed unit in home A/C system. Started right up after installing new cap. Bought two since I live in south Florida and air conditioning is a necessity, figured it can't hurt to have a spare! Can't really speak to the longevity side of the equation yet since it's only been a day since installation.
Normal capacitor, same connections. I always have a backup of these as they go bad at the worst times. Best price (saved$25 off retail) if you don't mind the 2 day wait. I'll wait to save that much!
Item was ordered on Wednesday for Saturday deliver. Did not ship till Saturday and got here on Monday. Why do pay for prime, again? Easy to install , elderly couple now has AC again. Somehow I am supposed to mention longevity on an item installed 45 minutes ago. Go figure. Made is China.
This worked this time of year before it gets so hot. Waiting two days with the a/c down would not be good if 100 degrees.

7.5 Mf is the same spec cap that came with the replacement motor (1/3 hp) I bought 5 years ago. Unit just buzzed and cutout. Reset unit and used a stick (while buzzing) to start the fan spinning (ccw for Rheem) which indicated a bad cap. Used the stick to start fan while waiting for one day delivery.
Good value. Great fix for my air conditioner. The only issue is that most "caps" come with at least one terminal marked with a "+" positive side. This doesn't. It didn't matter. It worked perfectly. I would buy again.
This product saved my life heat went out just at the start of the winter here in michigan so it was getting cold. The heating and cooling guy wanted 200dollars for just a part and to put in on well did my reserch and found what i needed to fix my furnace and it was so easy to install all you need is a screw driver
