I bought this as a replacement for my 11 year old Fantech PB-100H bathroom exhaust fan (also an excellent product, effective and very quiet). The fan had quit working, and I traced it down to the run capacitor. I had forgotten that it even HAD a run capacitor, but that is not uncommon in small fans.
I wanted to fix it quickly, so this Amazon Prime item was just the ticket: free two-day delivery and TWO backup capacitors, all for under 7 bucks! Yes, Fantech has them, but I doubt that I'd receive it from them in two days (I didn't even call). There are other Amazon suppliers, but some wouldn't ship for 6-8 weeks! What is this, 1963?
I tested all three new capacitors with a capacitance meter and all three checked out within tolerance, all 3-4% over the nominal 2uF.
So back into the attic, installed in 5 minutes, and voila! My fan now quietly sucks the steam out of my shower again! This unit is exactly the same shape and mounting as the original, but just slightly bigger. Regardless, it fit easily in the original location, mounted with the same mounting screw.

So it should last a long time (and, I've got backups!).
Works perfectly for my Reel to reel machine motor.
Worked perfectly for my bathroom exhaust fan. Fan now starts and runs faster. Perfect.
I replaced a similarly numbered run capacitor on a 1/8 horsepower electric motor that would overheat and shut off the more I used it. The replacement capacitor was a different shape but generally the same physical size as the original-it fit in the space provided and the motor has been running fine for a month now.

Great
Our ceiling fan stopped working and after a couple of online searches, the most common problem is the fan Capacitor fails. This was a super easy fix and for less than $10 my fan is now working again.
