this was as ordered the uf values were a little off but within limits it just means I'll probably need to replace it sooner. This is still cheaper than the $350.00 that the HVAC company was trying to get for this capacitor same make and model. At this price I can replace these for years and still not hit the 1500 dollars the HVAC company was trying to charge for capacitors and a control board I"m all in at 140 dollars and my labor compared to the 1500 I was quoted not to mention the fact that the capacitors they wanted to replace were still within the 6% Value
I bought this as a spare for my Ruud 2.5 Ton Air Handler in the attic as I didn't want the fan motor capacitor to fail during this past hot summer when the A/C was running a lot. I haven't checked it out with a meter yet or installed it, but I felt a lot better having it on hand. It's very cost effective to buy these before they fail as they can cost 5 or 6x the amount at a local HVAC supply place so it's a no-brainer to me to have one on hand. There are many videos on Youtube that explain how to replace your capacitor and how to know which one you need. A simple repair and one of the most common things to go wrong with your A/C Unit.
I always kept a spare for my central a/c compressor fan motor the cheep Chinese caps don’t last a year the ones made in the USA last for years costs a little more but well worth it
Technician wanted $190 to replace one that was going bad. Did it myself after seeing how he got to it. I’m sure youtube has appropriate videos. Just be sure power is off, since this is in 110v or 220v service.
Spent a few bucks on this capacitor in hopes that this was the problem with my HVAC. If this didn't work I probably would have bought a whole new system (over $6000) Worth the gamble. A GOOD PURCHASE.
