Replaced a broken capacitor on our home's air conditioning condenser unit. I could kick start the fan with a stick, but it wouldn't start on it's own, so I figured the capacitor was bad. This one was smaller than the existing, and thus I needed to put some spacers around it to get the mount to work, but that was a personal installation issue not a product complaint. Overall, smaller electronic components are better anyway as it should make other installations easier when tight on space.
Don't forget to safely discharge your existing capacitor before removing and replacing with this one!
This is a little more expensive than some others but it was what my HVAC tech replaced the original with 6 years ago so I wanted to use the same brand. Install was easy, remember to cut the power off at the breaker and short the contacts on the old one with a screwdriver before touching. Immediately buying another one for backup. Heat and brown-outs/over-voltages decrease the life of these things so 6 years in North Carolina is pretty good for a cap with a MTBF of 50,000 hours.
